History
Action Fire Protection (AFP), a sole proprietorship was founded by Mr. Francisco Rojo in 1991. His relevant experience started when he began working in the oil fields as a deck hand dealing with piping. He later gained experience in the plumbing field prior to migrating into the fire sprinkler industry. He worked for a private company and had five years of on-the-job training prior to successfully securing his own contractor's license. (C-16 #629287) This license enabled him to start his own business. He got his big break to do just that while working for a company that went bankrupt in the middle of a project. Mr. Rojo had just gotten his contractor's license when the project developer asked if he could do the next phase. Needless to say he leaped at the opportunity and AFP was born. The initial project was an apartment building with a project cost of $45,000. Operations initially began working from a garage with one computer and a small printer. His perseverance in operating this company led to steady growth with the major milestone being when it moved from the garage to the current 1800 sq. ft. office. As a result of Mr. Rojo's experience and leadership, he has attracted others to become part of a team that is fulfilling his vision. The staff has grown from two to eighteen within the last five years. To further accomplish the goals set in place by Mr. Rojo, AFP has recently employed a full time in-house engineer to design and draw our fire sprinkler systems.
